Woke up early this morning, realised she started coughing. Gave her a few cough drops before send her to mum's place. Later at 9pm, mum called. She told me Esther is having a high temp and had vomitted twice. Immediately I took a half day leave to bring her to KPJ to see Dr Lim.
When we reached KPJ, the nurse arranged use to see a general doctor first before proceeding to the specialist clinic. It had been our company policy to visit the general doctor first. And with the referral letter from the general doctor, we are able to proceed to the specialist clinic. Not much people at the clinic today. Most probably it is working day. We waited for a while and soon it is our turn.
Dr Lim checked on her hands and mouth before taking her temp. She is having a 38.5c temp. Dr Lim tell me to monitor her fever closely as there is a possibility of getting a high fever. So before we left the clinic he stick Esther 2 little stickers on Esther's hand as a reward for being a good girl when he examined her.
I gave the presription to the pharmacist at KPJ counter and these are the medicines Dr Lim presribed for Esther's sickness ;Augmentin(Antibiotic), Voltaren 12.5mg(High fever), Duamol (fever),Antamin(Flu) & Duro-Tuss(Cough Drops). With these medicines, I hope Esther will get well soon.
