Woke up around 2am last nite, Esther was coughing terribly till she vomitted. She was having a temp again. Oh gosh! 38.7c. Hubby was up too. We need to give her medicine. But she was covering her mouth and rejecting the medicine. We got no choice but to give her Voltaren instead. She cried out loudly when I inserted the Voltaren. Haigh! Really a pain in my heart to see her so sick like that.For about an hour, we used wet cloth to wipe her body to bring down the temp. Alas! At about 3am her temp finally reduced to 35c.
Finally I made this decision to call off her birthday celebration. There is no point of having a birthday celebration when she is so sick. Somemore there will be other people's children around. What if Esther spread her sickness to them? As a parent, we understand that when our children is sick we suffer. There is no point of making other children's parents suffer too.
